Born in Porto, began her studies at the National Conservatory in Lisbon, where obtained her diploma in 1996.
At 17 years old was invited to join, with a full contract, the National Ballet Company (CNB), in Lisbon, where she remained until August 2002. During this time participated in much of the company's repertoire highlighting some soloist roles particularly in Sleeping Beauty choreographed by Ted Brandsen after Petipa, Agon and Theme and Variations by G. Balanchine, In the Middle Somewhat Elevated of W. Forsythe and The Lisbon Piece of Anne-Therese de Keersmaeker this last integrated into the tour of commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Roses Company.
Between 2002 and 2004 was part of the Opera of Zurich (Zürcher Ballett) in Switzerland, where she participated in the creations of the director and choreographer Heinz Spoerli as well as in the company's repertoire including the classics Cinderella, Nutcracker, Giselle by H. Spoerli and Rubies, Theme and Variations and Allegro Brillante by G. Balanchine.
From 2004 to 2010 joined the State Opera Ballet of Bavaria (Bayerisches Staatsballett) in Munich, Germany. As a member of this company had the opportunity to work personally with the most recognized choreographers of our time including William Forsythe, Mats Ek, Jiri Kylian, Itzik Galili, Jacopo Godani, Martin Schläpfer, Hans van Manen, Nacho Duato, Sir Peter Wright, Ray Barra, John Neumeier among others. Of the entire repertoire of this company highlights her roles in Enemy in the Figure and Artifact of W. Forsythe, Elemental J. by Godani, Das Lied von der Erde by Sir Kenneth MacMillan, Violakoncert II of M. Schläpfer, Swan Lake and Raymonda of Ray Barra, La Bayadère of Patrice Bart, A Cinderella Story and The Lady of the Camellias of J. Neumeier, Oneguin and Romeo and Juliet of J. Cranko, Le Corsaire and The Sleeping Beauty of Ivan Liska after Petipa, Giselle versions of Mats Ek and Sir Peter Wright among others.
She returned to CNB in December 2010 and there she had the opportunity to debut in the role of Juliet in Cranko's Romeo and Juliet, and as Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, soloist roles in Swan Lake and Cinderella as well as to work with Olga Roriz in the creation of the Noite de Ronda.
To complement her dancing career she has obtained the Certificate in Movement Notation with honors at The Benesh Institute, The Royal Academy of Dance in London where she intends to follow her studies for the diploma and pursue a career linked to dance as choreologist.
In 2014 obtained her certificate in BodyCode (MasterStretch and Elvis) in Florence, Italy and in 2017 her certificate in Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT).
