Open Class Teacher
Hanna O’Dwyer was born in Stockholm, Sweden.
At the age of 9 she started dancing 5 days a week and at 10 years old she passed the audition to the Swedish Ballet School where she studied until 1993. After successfully graduating she continued her studies at Ballettakademie, Köln.
As a professional dancer Hanna danced at Royal Swedish Ballet, Drottningholms court Theater and Tanzfabrik.
In 1999 Hanna started a 3 year ballet pedagogical education at Danshögskolan, University College of Dance, in Stockholm. In addition to her teacher diploma she also did a 1 year course and achieved a diploma i Pilates. Hanna has worked in various prestigious ballet schools in Stockholm - Royal Swedish Ballet School, Anneli Alhankos Ballet Line at BASE23 and Balettakademin.
In 2009 Hanna was Balletmaster at Borås Stadsteater in Sweden.
2010 she moved to Munich. In Munich she has been teaching both ballet and modern dancers and students. She has been a guest teacher for professional schools from Italy and had workshops in ballet technique and ballet pedagogy. Hanna also has open classes in various dance schools.
To deepen her knowledge Hanna continues to attend workshops and seminars. The last couple of years she has been to IADMS, Canadian Ballet Schools teacher seminars and workshops at the Swedish Ballet School.
