Info Summer Course 2019

Bottaini Merlo International Center of Arts 

Program (subject to change)

Group 1: 11 to 12 years old
Group 2: 13 to 14 years old
Group 3: 15 to 16 years old
Group 4: < 17 years old

We do not require specific uniform:
Ballet: body, pink tights, skirt (if desired)
Character: body, pink tights, skirt and character shoes
Modern: body/top and black footless tights/shorts

1) General Information

Admission to the workshop is open, without previous audition, to all dance students from both professional or private schools from the age of 12 years on the commencement of the course.

The places are limited and registration will be garanteed only after completion of the first payment.

The students will be divided in groups based on their age.

After the first day the tutors reserve the right to move the students from one group to another based on their level of work. 

The classes guaranteed daily will be four. Classical ballet, modern, character and in addition, the intermediate levels pointe work and repertoire for the advanced.

Possibility to view the classes by parents and teachers ONLY on the last day.

2) Insurance

Participants are recommended to take out personal health, travel and accident insurance.

The organization will not be held responsible for any damage or injury, however caused, to any person who attends the course or third parties as well as for the loss of any property or damage to the premises of the course or housing locations. 

3) Registation

Please send the completed registration form together with a dance photo, free pose, later you will be sent information about the exact daily schedule. Registration is valid only upon proof of payment of 35% of the total fee (150,-€). 

4) Payment

Deadline for payment of accommodation: 15^th  July 2019

The registration fee/first payment of 150 euros should be transfered into the BMICA Bank account stating SUMMER COURSE AND NAME SURNAME STUDENT.

Bank details can be found on the Registration Form.

The remaining of the course fee may be paid by bank transfer by the 31st of July or in cash directly at the BMICA office on the first day of the course. 

5) Cancellation

If by personal reasons it is impossible to participate, the participation fees are not refundable under any circumstances.

In case of cancellation of the course by the 31^thJuly for health reasons, with attached medical certificate, the course fee will be held in credit for the following year, while for the residences no refund will be given. 

6) Accommodation

For unaccompanied minors, individuals or groups in search of practical and convenient accommodation, we open the doors of BMICA student houses for the period of the Summer Course. Possibility of overnight stay and half board, plus tutor service at home for minors without accompany. Send us an email to know the costs and conditions and secure a place. 

The Academy is located in the center of Munich, 5 minutes from the central station and at the beginning of the pedestrian area, in the vicinity there are several hotels of various categories. There should be no problem finding adequate accommodation personally.

However, please note that, given the difficulty in finding rooms and apartments available in the summer in the Munich center area due to the heavy influx of tourists, we recommend that participants start their search as soon as possible.
